Materials Needed:
Pinecones (collected from your yard or purchased, medium to large size)
Acrylic paints in lilac purple, white and green for stems/leaves
Paintbrushes (small and medium sizes).
Floral wire or green pipe cleaners (for stems)
Hot glue gun or craft glue.
A small vase or jar (e.g., a Mason jar)
Optional: Twine or ribbon for a rustic touch, green tissue paper for leaves.
Steps to Create the Pinecone Lilac Bouquet:
Prepare the Pinecones:
Clean pinecones by soaking them in water with a bit of vinegar to remove dirt, let them dry completely.
Paint the Pinecones:
Use lilac purple paint to coat the outer tips of the pinecone scales, leaving some natural brown showing for depth. Add small white highlights to mimic lilac florets, Let Dry.
Create Stems:
Attach floral wire or pipe cleaners to the base of each pinecone with hot glue to create stems. Paint stems green is needed.
